University of South Australia students from the Whyalla campus are now ready for the workforce in their chosen fields after celebrating their graduation late last month.
A group of 50 students finished their degrees and graduated from their studies in Whyalla, with the ceremony hosted at Middleback Theatre.
The students who graduated did so from a variety of degrees, including social work, nursing, early childhood teaching and primary teaching and clinical exercise physiology.
There were also two post graduate students receiving a graduate diploma in digital learning and a graduate diploma in communications.
Regional manager of the Whyalla campus Paul Havelberg said they were delighted to celebrate the achievements of the graduating group.
He said the students did well in adapting to difficulties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Their hard work and dedication to their study has been acknowledged," he said.
"Students rose to the challenge of last year in being adaptable and resilient and those skills will stand them in good stead in their future careers."
Students who completed their Foundation Studies program in 2020 were awarded their completion certificates.
