Directors of the Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation (EPCF) will be making an upcoming visit to Whyalla to visit local grant recipients.
EPCF grants have been awarded to the Whyalla Men's Shed, Whyalla Road Safety Committee and Blue Light SA Whyalla.
In partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, EPCF also facilitates a Back to School program across Eyre Peninsula, which includes Whyalla schools, with $24,400 in $50 Target vouchers distributed in 2021.
Directors have also planned an information presentation for interested community members wishing to learn about the foundation and how they can become involved.
The information session will be hosted at the UniSA Whyalla campus at 5.30pm on Wednesday, May 12.
EPCF chairperson Garry Downey said the foundation worked to assist Eyre Peninsula individuals and groups through their donations.
"Incorporated in 2009, the Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation carefully manages a growing base of donated funds and works with philanthropic and other partners to ensure the best possible value and impact from each of its community projects, regional student advancement and home hospice services on Eyre Peninsula," he said.
"The foundation is supported by the invaluable work of the EP Book Bazaar volunteers and committed administrative staff."
