Two boys who allegedly broke into a property in Port Lincoln were arrested in Whyalla on Sunday.
Sometime between 5pm and 11pm on Sunday, February 28 a home on Rodda Avenue was broken in to before a Mitsubishi Pajero was stolen from the driveway.
At about 2:35am Monday, March 1 the car was sighted travelling on the Lincoln Highway near Whyalla.
Following an investigation, later that morning about 4:15am police located the vehicle at a Whyalla Norrie address where they arrested two boys aged 17 and 13-years-old.
They were both charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, illegal use of a motor vehicle, theft and breach of bail. Both boys were refused bail and appeared in Court Monday.
The 13-year-old was remanded to reappear at the Adelaide Youth Court on March 3.
The 17-year-old was remanded to reappear at the Adelaide Youth Court on March 29.
