Cracker final on Saturday

This weekend sees the Alan Walker League Cup final to be played at Swandel park on Saturday with Westlands and Croatia going head-to-head.

Westland United are yet to lose a game so far this season and are going into this match in top form with their three amigos of Papoulis, Rhodes and Robinson all on fire at the moment.

Westland will also receive a boost with Mitchell , Jackson and Delgiacco all available for selection to give the Red Devils a full fit squad to choose from .

One player whose been an unsung hero so far is John Holland. He sweeps in front of his defence stopping any early danger and is a great foil for Corey King .

Croatia have showed their a threat this season and a crucial win on the weekend without their talisman Sullivan was a statement.Sullivan and Longin should be available for this big match.

Last week's hero Heron will have to watch from the sidelines as he is cup tied as he's already represented Wanderers in the same competition.

The inclusion of Rigg in goals proved a good choice with the veteran pulling off some critical saves against Lions and should hold his spot in the final.

The last time these two met Westlands won 3-1 but that was three month ago so it's difficult to line these teams up now . Could easily go either way this final and it should be a cracker.

In the reserves Wanderers and Westlands face off as the two top sides so far this year .

Westlands had a big win over Wanderers two weeks ago and should get some players back with Westlands first team having players available.

Westlands and Wanderers have plenty of youth and experience in their squads and a close game is expected.
