Whyalla's Seventh Day Adventist Church are hosting a special fundraiser next Wednesday, with all proceeds from the day going to ADRA SA to be donated to areas affected by bushfires.
There will be plenty of activities for children including fun games such as dummy spitting and donut eating, and bargain deals on goods starting from 50 cents.
ADRA Coordinator Helen Hiscock encouraged community members to host a stall at the event for $10 or make a donation to a good cause.
"We'd like to get as many stalls as we can, they just have to ring me. Stalls will be a 3x3 gazebo, and businesses can choose to have their proceeds from the day donated to ADRA SA," she said.
"We've got a lot of entertainment for the kids, who can bring their favourite animal toy and have a free lucky dip. We have a big container of kids goodies they can pick at," she said.
"We have a variety of yummy food on offer, including hot potatoes, a sausage sizzle and a pavlova. For drinks we've got delicious smoothies as well as hot drinks.
"It's all to raise money to go to ADRA SA who will forward it on to the people who need it. Nothing gets taken out of it, the funds will stay in South Australia and go to areas like Kangaroo Island.
"It's going to be a fun day for the family and will ensure those who really need help will get it."
The fundraiser will be held at the ADRA Op Shop at 63 Hincks Avenue from 10am-2pm. For more information contact Helen on 0429 700 279.
