The South Australia Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team has charged a 21-year-old Whyalla Stuart man with having child-abuse material.
He has been granted bail to appear in Whyalla Magistrates Court on December 23.
The team is a partnership between South Australia Police Public Protection Branch and the Australia Federal Police.
Members of the team arrested the man on Monday and charged him with one count of having child-exploitation material, contrary to the Criminal Law Consolidation Act.
The maximum penalty for this offence is five years' jail.
