Students and teachers from Stuart High School and Stuart Primary Campus enjoyed a day of literacy fun for Book Week on Thursday.
They donned creative costumes inspired by characters such as Harry Potter, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Pikachu, Batman, Pac-Man and even the Black Widow of Avengers fame.
Year 8 Teacher Steph McLachlin said it was great to see students and staff getting into the spirit of Book Week.
"We've been reading some books across our caregroups, and my group are creating their own picture book," she said.
"They're putting together a book in English as well, which allows them to link the two together.
"I think the primary school definitely got a few kids really interested in reading that might not necessarily be reading. A few of my kids have looked into the stories that were read today."
