The Whyalla RSPCA Million Paws Walk will be held this Sunday from 9am to 1pm at the Jim Pollock Wetlands with a barbecue, drinks and meals and coffee available at the Sumthin' Tastee Cafe.
The Million Paws Walk is the RSPCA's biggest annual event, with all funds raised going back into the Whyalla Animal Care Centre.
"From ensuring that our Whyalla Animal Care Centre always has room for the animals that need us, and to developing our outreach programs;" an RSPCA spokesperson said.
"It's national cause is to be a voice for the voiceless, and to do everything in our power to protect animals from cruel and inhumane treatment.
"The funds raised during Million Paws Walk allow the Whyalla Animal Care Centre to continue and develop our many services within our community.
"Join us on Sunday 26th May and walk your dog at the Jim Pollock Whyalla Wetlands from 9.00am - 1.00pm."
The walk was going to be held at the wetlands last Sunday but predicted thunderstorms forced it to be rescheduled.
