At least 100 people attended a special Mother's Day market at the Mount Laura Homestead on Sunday.

Entertainment included live performances by Graham Hugo, Whyalla Recording Scholarship runner-up Jaylee Daniels and Alison Hams while Mark Tempany manned the sound.

D'faces of Youth Arts Company Manager Rob Golding was busy providing entertainment for the kids.

The Whyalla History Month display inside the museum was also popular and featured a great timeline of the steel city's early days.
