Victims threatened by robber

Police are investigating a break-in at Whyalla Norrie where a man and woman were threatened by an intruder.

About 11am on Thursday a man forced his way into a house in McMahon Street and threatened the two occupants, before stealing items and putting them into two Liverpool soccer backpacks.

The suspect then ran out the back door of the house. The two victims were not injured.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged between 20-30 years old, 180cm tall, medium build, and was wearing an NBA black baseball cap, black hooded jumper with front pockets, grey tracksuit pants, black Nike running shoes with white trim.

The suspect was also wearing gloves and used the hood on his jumper to mask his face.
