What a beautiful day to be out playing golf.
I refer to Wednesday being the scheduled day for the seniors nine-hole stableford event for men.
It certainly warmed up on Thursday for the ladies.
One gentleman couldn't give me the results quick enough as he was the winner on nineteen points, the person being Bob Clayton.
Another Bob was runner-up with seventeen points and I make reference to Bob Worby.
Well played, chaps!

There is only a lone birthday girl for the month of April, that of Beverley Shiell.
All the very best Bev for an enjoyable day on the 18th. Really live it up!
It was certainly a very keenly contested nine hole stableford event for the senior men on Saturday.
It was a countback to decide the winner with Reg Hocking emerging the 'top dog' on 18 points from Terry Brown.
Col Rodda again showed consistency with 17 stableford points to his name.
Allen Howell recorded a 'birdie' on the difficult nine, with a well executed drive followed by a classy putt.
That effort will keep Allen coming back.
Best wishes to Danny Bastian from club members re his state of health.
May he have a speedy recovery!
It was indeed pleasing to note that our 'travelling' golfer Pam Beinke was rewarded for effort last week.
Pam drives from Cowell each Thursday to participate in the club's eighteen hole event and that requires dedication and a true love of golf.
Pam won on the day and received loud applause when the results were read out, and rightly so.
This lass has a no nonsense approach when hitting the ball (which goes a 'country mile') and her demeanor on the course is exemplary.
A great result, Pam!
