Send-off for Bailey Jones as he ventures to Tasmania

One of Whyalla’s ‘young guns’ in Bailey Jones is leaving us to go to Launceston to live with the Tasmanian side of his family for at least a few months – possibly for good.

As he was an important part of the Shamrocks 8-ball team last year he will be sorely missed, not only by his Whyalla family, but all members of the Harp ‘n’ Shamrocks club as well.

A few of the “boys” gathered to give him a send-off that he won’t forget in a hurry at the club recently and wished him the best of luck on his new adventure.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone to see him in Tasmanian state colours next year.
