Tired of boring Sundays?

Well the ADRA Family Fair being held this Sunday might be the cure to your end of week blues, as it’s packed to the brim with entertainment, specialty stalls and healthy activities.

The fair will run from 10am to 2pm at 63 Hincks Avenue, with all welcome to attend.

Entertainment will include a performances by the Whyalla Singers and the Whyalla Ukulele Players featuring a didgeridoo and a presentation from EyreAus Canine Coach Judy Olsen about living safely with pets.

A sausage sizzle, devonshire tea, smoothies, cakes, hot foods, drinks, pancakes, Popes Honey, homemade jams, mustard pickles and vegetarian cooking will no doubt fill hungry stomachs on the day while a jumping castle will keep the kids busy.

Health checks looking at height, weight and blood pressure will be run by Pastor Gavin and Pastor John Beck, while Jane Capone from Access Chiropractic Centre will offer head, neck and shoulder massages.

ADRA Coordinator Helen Hiscock described the fair as a ‘good, fun family day’.

“People can come out and try a different variety of stalls,” she said.

Ms Olsen said her presentation would focus on interacting safely with dogs.

“If we have any kids in the audience we’d like to get them involved,” she said.

“It’s really good for them to learn the rules about how to be safe around an angry dog, and how that can help the dog to calm down.” For more information, phone Helen on 0429 700 279.
