A wet and wintry weekend saw us close out the minor rounds this past Saturday with some great netball displayed across all grades.

True Blue just snuck home in a close one over Ravens winning by just 1 goal in 11 and Under Div 2.

Let’s hope their Semi Final this Saturday is just as close where they will play off again for a spot in the Preliminary.

YCW and Warriors will also repeat the game from Saturday for a spot in the grand final where I’m sure Warriors will be hoping for a different result.

No surprises in the games in 11 and Under div 1 and therefore late changes to the top four.

This weekend will see an undefeated Warriors take on YCW for a place in the grand final and Ravens will play Roopena with the winner progressing to the preliminary.

Warriors managed a surprise win over Ravens Pink 23-18 in 13 & Under Division 2 while Kiwi only just got home with a one point win over YCW 16-15.

Ravens Pink will take on YCW this weekend for a place in the grand final while Warriors will play Kiwi for a spot in the prelim.

In 13 and Under Division 1 Roopena were triumphant in a must win game over YCW defeating them 27-19 while Kiwi just managed to get the win over Warriors 30-28, knocking Warriors out of finals.

This weekend True Blue Blue, who are currently undefeated, will take on Kiwi to progress to the grand final.

True Blue White will play Roopena to see who will move forward to the preliminary.

No changes to the ladder after the results this weekend in 15 & Under Division 2.

Ravens defeated True Blue 33-24 in a game that will be replayed this weekend in the semi.

True Blue will be looking to cause an upset as Ravens are yet to lose a game.

Warriors will take on Roopena for a spot in the prelim in what I expect will be a close one.

15 & Under Division 1 saw Roopena come home with their third win of the season defeating YCW 24-20.

Warriors Green and True Blue both had convincing wins which should set the scene for a competitive semi final when they face off this weekend for a place in the grand final.

Kiwi and YCW will play off for a spot in the prelim.

In F Grade, Kiwi Red got an eight-point win over their sister team Kiwi Black to secure their spot at the top of the ladder.

They will take on Roopena this weekend while True Blue have a weekend off and eagerly await who they will face in the preliminary next weekend.

YCW Yellow and Ravens did not disappoint in their game this weekend which could have seen YCW Yellow steal the fourth spot right out from underneath Ravens.

While YCW Yellow came home with the points to make the two teams tied on fourth, the three-goal win was simply not enough to boost their percentage.

This weekend Kiwi Red will take on YCW Green for a grand final place while Kiwi Black will play Ravens for a spot in the prelim.

The results in D grade saw no changes to the ladder even though Warriors Black did grab a surprise win over their system team Warriors Green 46-34.

This will certainly boost their confidence when they face off again this weekend for a place in the preliminary final.

Kiwi will play Roopena to see who goes straight through to the grand final.

True Blue got a win over Kiwi in Reserves 35-24.

Kiwi will be hoping to reverse the result this weekend when they face off in the semi.

Warriors will play YCW with the winner moving through to the preliminary final.

C Grade saw some great games this weekend.

Kiwi got home in a one-point win over YCW Yellow which allowed Warriors Black to take back top spot with their win over Ravens.

Roopena just managed to hold off a fast finishing YCW in another one-goal game.

Warriors Black will take on YCW Yellow for a place in the grand final in what looks to be a great game while Kiwi will take on True Blue to see who can progress to the prelim.

The closest competition of all is our B grade and this weekend’s games did not disappoint.

The top five teams are separated by four points.

Kiwi Red had to win this weekend in order to play finals and they did just that in close one over Ravens Pink winning 35-33.

This loss for Ravens Pink had ramifications of its own as a win to YCW Green over ladder leader Warriors saw Ravens relegated to third.

Ravens Pink and Kiwi Red will now face off again this weekend in a must win game to keep their season alive while Warriors will replay their game against YCW Green to see who moves on to the grand final.

While the finals in A grade were already decided before this weekend it certainly didn’t mean the teams took their foot of the pedal.

True Blue took a surprising win over Warriors in a game that will boost their confidence greatly.

True Blue now sit back and wait for the outcome of what could be a cracker game this Saturday between Kiwi and Warriors, to see who they need to defeat to get a spot in the grand final.

I wish all teams playing finals this weekend the best of luck.

Regardless of the result ensure you can walk away from the game proud of yourself and your team mates.

If you haven’t made it out to watch a game yet this season, this is the weekend to do it.
