Wanderers junior soccer player Jordan Kutchell has just returned from a successful international Under 15 Futsal tournament in the US where he represented South Australia. Futsal is a form of soccer mainly played indoors on hard courts and Orlando, Florida was the location as teams from around the world but mostly the US vied to be champions.

Jordan’s team won four games and lost one as they made the play offs but where unfortunately knocked out by another Aussie team in Gold Coast. Jordan scored four goals for his side and was named player of the tournament for South Australia.

“It was an amazing experience,” said Jordan. “Playing against some great players, I learnt a lot and would definitely do it again if I got the opportunity.”

Jordan’s father Wayne also mentioned “it was just the best thing for him, he got to play at a high level and met some great people, the whole tournament was a family friendly environment”.

Well done, Jordan. You’ve done your family and the junior soccer association proud.
