Tigers and Magpies clash in Round 13

UPSET: West Whyalla will hope to bounce back against Roopena after losing to North Whyalla last week.

West Whyalla will look to bounce back from a stunning loss to North Whyalla when they take on Roopena on Saturday at Bennett Oval.

The Dragons have a tendency to take the sword to the Roos this season, beating them by 73 points in Round 3 after losing to North, and by the same margin in Round 8 after being held to a draw the week before.

This clash is likely to follow the same trend and should make for a good percentage booster for West.

The Memorial Oval match will see inconsistent South Whyalla take on the struggling Central Whyalla. The Demons have been very Jekyll and Hyde this year while the Roosters sit at the bottom of the table having only won two games all season.

South will be keen to back-up a confidence boosting win over Roopena last week, and should have the firepower necessary to account for Central.

Finally, Sunday’s contest should be match of the round with Weeroona Bay taking on North Whyalla. North will be flying high after notching a second win over West, and should get over the line in a thriller.
