Community enjoy NAIDOC | PHOTOS

At least 100 people embraced cultural activities at the NAIDOC Week Community Day held at the Gabmididi Manoo Children and Family Centre on Friday.

Community Development Coordinator Dana Campion said it was great to see so many organisations, including Headspace, Centacare, Centrelink, Nunyara Aboriginal Health Service, Mission Australia, UniSA and more participate in the event.

“It’s great for the kids, there’s painting activities, badge-making, and a jumping castle,” she said.

The Metropolitan Fire Service and SAPOL were also there on the day, giving young ones a chance to sound the siren or explore firetrucks.
