A man was arrested for drink driving after a crash in Whyalla last night.
At 7.35pm on Monday 14 May police were called to a single car crash on Newton Street. Police located the alleged driver a short time later and a breath analysis test returned a blood alcohol level of 0.206.
The 58-year-old man from Whyalla was reported for driving without due care and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol. His license was also immediately disqualified for a period of 12 months.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
