Three Whyalla men and a Streaky Bay man will face court after cannabis was located at their homes by police last week.

At 8pm on Wednesday, May 9 Whyalla police searched a home at Whyalla Norrie following an investigation.

Police will allege they located five cannabis plants growing at the premises as well as multiple loose dry cannabis and equipment used in connection with smoking cannabis.

A 48-year-old man from the address was reported for cultivate cannabis and issued expiation notices for possessing equipment. He will face the Whyalla Magistrates Court at a later date.

About 10am on Thursday, May 10 Whyalla police searched a home at Whyalla Playford following an investigation.

Police will allege a bedroom at the home had been converted into a hydroponic grow room. Police seized six cannabis plants and numerous pieces of prescribed equipment.

The occupant, a 53-year-old male was reported for cultivating cannabis and possessing prescribed equipment. He will face the Whyalla Magistrates Court at a later date.

About 11.30am on Thursday, May 10 Streaky Bay Police and detectives from Ceduna searched a home at Streaky Bay following an investigation.

It will be alleged they located seven large cannabis plants growing in the scrub nearby the house and an eighth plant drying in a small shed at the rear of the property.

Loose cannabis and other equipment was also located and seized.

The occupant, 46-year-old man, was reported for cultivate cannabis, possess cannabis and possess equipment. He will face court at a later date.

At 8.30pm on Thursday, May 10 Whyalla detectives and patrols searched a home at Whyalla Playford following an investigation.

Police will allege they located a hydroponic cannabis grow room inside the house along with an amount of dried cannabis. Police seized four cannabis plants, dried cannabis and equipment from the address.

The occupant, a 39-year-old man was reported for cultivating cannabis, possessing a trafficable amount of cannabis and possessing prescribed equipment. He will face the Whyalla Magistrates Court at a later date.
