Five teens issued notices

Five people aged in their late teens have been issued with cannabis expiation notices after police found drugs and a dangerous weapon inside a Whyalla Norrie house. 

The house was searched with a drug warrant overnight.

Police searched the premises at 12.15am on Tuesday, April 17 and located several jars of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.  A double-edged knife was also seized from one of the occupants.

Five people aged in their late teens were all issued with a cannabis expiation notice.  An 18-year-old man was also reported for carrying an offensive weapon and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
