CHANGES: Buses will take Rex passengers from their aircraft to a new entrance at the main terminal to collect their luggage.

Passengers flying from Whyalla to Adelaide with Regional Express will be dropped at the main terminal at Adelaide Airport to collect their baggage from February 13.

An expansion of the main terminal will see the Rex arrivals terminal demolished and redeveloped and the roadway used for taxis and passenger pick-ups closed.

Rex passengers will be bused from the aircraft to a new entrance at the main terminal where passengers will be able walk to the baggage reclaim area to collect luggage.

All arriving passengers will also need to use the taxi rank and passenger-pick-up zone adjacent the main terminal.

There will not be any changes to the Regional Express check-in and departure procedures.
