A Whyalla Stuart man has been arrested after police identified him from security images taken from a theft in March this year.
Back on Friday, March 10 a man climbed the fence of a Sampson Street home and stole cash, cigarettes and a lighter from an unlocked car.
Security cameras from the premises captured images of the suspect but up until last week the suspect had never been identified.
Following a review of the images, Whyalla police yesterday arrested a 53-year-old man from Whyalla Stuart and charged him with being unlawfully on premises, theft and illegal interference of a motor vehicle.
The arrested man has been bailed to appear in the local Whyalla Court on December 18.
