Local music group Stormfront Productions has been named a Finalist in the prestigious 2017 South Australian Music Awards.

The SAM Awards recognise and promote excellence in the South Australian music industry, and Stormfront is the only regional Finalist for ‘Best Studio’ along with four other Adelaide Finalists.

Owned and operated by Mark Tempany and Alison Hams, Stormfront's main audio and video recording facilities combine with a Mobile Recording Unit to provide a powerful and widely available professional service to the region, regularly coordinating projects for international release.

“To be nominated for a SAM Award is a major achievement for a regional Studio – maintaining a profile against Adelaide’s very unique music scene is testimony to a lot of hard work and the amazing artists we get to work with” said Mark.

“Whyalla Recording Scholarship winner BREEZE Millard’s debut single and official music video have led the way in 2017 and we’ve also worked with a number of talented songwriters such as Shekinah Etshu – so we dedicate this Finalist berth to the amazing clients who continue to support us through thick and thin” said Alison.

The South Australian Music Awards take place on 9 November at Thebarton Theatre.
