Edward John Eyre High School students officially welcomed the start of term one with a breakfast fit for kings.
Mind Matters representatives from the school along with staff members cooked up a storm for new and returning students.
Mind Matters member Ford King said the breakfast was due to the school deciding to continue its annual tradition.
"It really gets the year 12s mingling with the year 11s and their teachers, so it's a really relaxed and welcoming breakfast," he said.
Looking forward in 2015, Ford said Mind Matters had many programs and issues that members hoped to address.
"We're going to be working on the transition process again this year," he said.
"Last year changes were made to the process by Mind Matters and we believe it made the Whyalla High and Stuart High kids more comfortable to mingle between each other."
This Thursday, February 19 will see an introduction day for both Mind Matters and student voice representatives at Whyalla Yacht Club.
Students will elect their year 11 and 12 male and female representatives.
