We are seeking a highly passionate and engaging Nurse Unit Manager to join our general adult mental health unit. This ward is a joint management role, managing 22 beds of a 44 bed unit.
As a department Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide operational direction to the 44 bed ward, in a combined management role with the fellow NUM by ensuring efficient and effective fiscal management and promote high quality clinical care for our patients.
You will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting mental health expansion and redevelopment at Northpark Private Hospital. The general adult mental health unit will gain an additional 12 beds, and a 10 bed older persons' mental health unit will also be opening.
As the leader of this expanding unit, you will be a key part of the hospital's management team and will provide support to the Director of Clinical Services.

Candidates with less than 5 years ANUM experience in a mental unit will also be considered, and will have the opportunity to undergo training for the role.
