Police are investigating a break-in in Whyalla Stuart.

Sometime between 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 2 and 3pm on Friday, August 4, thieves forced through the front door of a residential property on Bevan Crescent and stole a television, laptop computer, gaming console and a quantity of DVDs.

In other police news, a woman has been reported for drink driving and had her car impounded at Whyalla Norrie on Sunday.

Police stopped a Holden sedan on Norrie Avenue just before 7pm on Sunday and breath tested the driver. The woman allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.115.

A 49-year-old woman from Whyalla Norrie was reported for drink driving and issued with a six month instant loss of licence. She will be summonsed to appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court at a later date.
