After a tentative start Friday Night Fast Tennis is now in full swing with six teams enjoying a great night of social tennis.
The games are played in a 'tie-break' format where every point counts toward the end result.
The result is a fast paced, no holds barred style of tennis, which keeps you on your toes all of the time.
Last week's draw saw the Big Boys led by Andrew take on a much younger team Phunny Paketz who are ably led by Tkaii with a 217 to 91 point result.
The closest game was the result between the 'Wily Old Dog' Ken O'Dea and the 'Eveready Bunny' Craig McLeod over 'Mum' Marie Homes and the next Sam Stoser in Tkaii Maidzwa.
Tkaii fired off some awesome shots taking her opponents by surprise, but it wasn't enough to prevent the much more experienced team taking the result 30-19.
It was a much closer tussle on courts 5 and 6 where the Back Half's who took on JJAB with a 164 to 136 point result.
The Back Half's Mick Price got his money's worth when he teamed up with Tyler Stringer to force a 25 to 23 point win over father and son team in Allan and Jaimee Home and then again when he teamed up with Tyler's father Freddie over Joey Webster and Jaimee Homes.
The Back Half's fearless leader 'Choppy' barely got out of first gear with all 3 of his matches being a comfortable wins.
But that is all about to change when he faces his nemesis 'Hog' leader of The Rusty Demons who were forced to have a bye as Out of Africa was still holidaying in Thailand.
Games are played every Friday night under lights starting at 6.30pm-7pm.
There is still room for another two teams of four players, so if you are looking for a light hearted, fun way to get some exercise on a Friday night contact Andrew Gray on 0402 452 862 or Di Rowe on 0438 800 345.
