Warriors netballer Alyssa Moore has been selected to play in the South Australia

Warriors netballer Alyssa Moore has been selected to play in the South Australian State League Reserves netball competition in Adelaide, for Matrics Netball Club.

She has been playing in the summer competition since October 2007 and has been involved in pre-season training during summer with the Matrics State League squad.

Alyssa travels to Adelaide each week to play and train with the Matrics.

She is the youngest player in the reserves team.

Being selected to play State League Reserves is a huge honour.

Matrics State League Reserves team are the current champions and have won many grand finals.

Many Adelaide Thunderbird players have played for Matrics including current Thunderbird players Natalie Medhurst, Kristen Hughes and Alex Hodge.

Alyssa would like to thank her major sponsor Sudel Industries and the businesses that supported her during the summer season, Career Employment Group, OneSteel, Whyalla Hose & Fittings.

She would also like to thank her Whyalla coaches Fiona Rosalia and Trudy McLauchlan, the Warriors Netball Club and her fitness trainer Joe Frusch for all of their support.

She was selected to play netball for SA Country in 2006 (under 15) and 2007 (under 17); her team was successful both years.

Alyssa also plays basketball for Titans and was selected for SA Country Basketball this year in under 18.

She also drives a Datsun at dirt circuit and has been racing since she was 10.
