Showing off pride and joy

11 Mar, 2010 09:21 AM
Whyalla entrants did extremely well at the Northern drag and motorsport associations second motor show in Port Augusta on February 27.

With more than 5000 spectators and 172 entrants, local Whyalla car and motorbike enthusiasts featured highly at the presentations taking out many of the categories.

It was a stellar line up of top quality vehicles on show and fantastic attractions, including Australia's Motor bike Freestyle champion Adrian Harry, AFL legend Mark Ricciutto, Garry Myers in his Blown Black Mustang, Darren Morgan with his Top Fuel dragster, and Whyalla's own Canned Heat Jet Car.

It was a fantastic day out for the whole family with live bands, great food and plenty of high octane activity all day.

The Motor Show is a fundraising event to promote Safe Motoring with all proceeds going towards building a Motorsport complex in the Mid North region.
