11 Feb, 2010 11:08 AM
The Whyalla Bowling Club hosted the Champion of Champions Fours on Sunday February 7.

This event is contested by the club champion teams of the UNMBA, with Hawker, Roxby Downs, Wilmington, Quorn, Port. Augusta. ETSA (Port Augusta), Whyalla Golf and Whyalla Bowling Clubs all participating.

The weather conditions although hot, were ideal due to the lack of high winds, ensuring some very high quality and close games.

The final between Port Augusta and Whyalla was a nail biter for the players and spectators as the 18 end game was tied at 13 all on the fifteenth end with Port Augusta eventually winning 16 shots to 15.
