The feature race on the six event program is the $3,000 Ocean Eyre Cup.
At 4pm the race will feature the clash between, new to the open company ranks in Redondo-on-Telowie, taking on seasoned campaigners in Rioli Lloyd Goal, Saldivar and Bobby Hank.
The mobile start and the 1920 metre distance will suit the speedy veteran Rioli Lloyd Goal.
He was a winner five starts back in Whyalla at the last meeting on December 26 (2009), and then followed that win with a win at Port Pirie in a fast time of 1.59.9 in January.
Despite drawing barrier nine, if driver Jake Webster can find the lead early in the race, he will be hard to run down.
Redondo on Telowie has been impressive so far this season winning three races, with his latest win at Port Pirie last Friday night by 13 metres, and ideally drawn in Barrier two to have the run of the race.
Other runners, punters must consider, are Saldivar a winner of two "claiming" races at Globe Derby and Port Pirie last month, and was second at Whyalla to Rioli Lloyd Goal in December.
Bobby Hank won a similar class race at Whyalla on December 5 in a fast time of 2.1.9.
The days racing starts at 1.30pm with former Whyalla Club Race-caller, now working part time at TAB Radio in Adelaide, Mark Lydeamore returns as the guest caller.
