Round one of championship

Sponsored by the Kids Cops Karts program, the Whyalla Go Kart Club will be holding a meeting this Saturday, February 4, at their track situated on the Port Lincoln highway about five kilometres south of Whyalla.

Gate entrance is free with the track meeting beginning at 1pm.

The Whyalla Go Kart Club has successfully secured sponsors for the 2012 Club Championship year with seven class titles up for grabs including: Restricted 125 Clubman Light, Restricted 125 Clubman Heavy, Sportsman 160, Junior National, Cadets, Rookies and All Powers Handicap.

Prizes will be awarded at each round with points able to be accumulated from the eight round series, with the drivers worst two rounds dropped from the end of the year's point's score, which can include not racing at events due to shiftwork etc.
