On Saturday afternoon at both Schulz Reserve and Jubilee Park, the Martelco Hire Twenty 20 Big Bash gets serious as the eight teams play their last minor round game.
This game will be the finals qualifier commencing on Sunday afternoon at Schulz Reserve.
Due to the oppressive heat last Sunday, no matches were played making these matches more entertaining and exhilarating, as the teams and players were out to impress in their coloured outfits.
Group A consists of BOC, LHC Brown, LHC Gold and Martelco Hire, with Group B East (Sharks), Iron Knob, South and Stuart.
The two teams finishing second and both groups play off in a plate final.
The top teams will play a day and night grand final with lights provided by Martelco Hire to ensure the atmosphere and intensity the final will bring.
It is close at the top of both groups due to the cancellation of Sunday's games.
Saturday's games are important to the four sides that all have three points, being Stuart Hockey, Martelco Hire, East (Sharks) and BOC.
Saturday's games between East and Stuart Hockey (group A) and BOC v Martelco Hire (group B), will both be important and go a long way to deciding who will play in the final.
The run rate will probably play a big part of the final's two teams.
The field is wide open with bets on with East v BOC in the final mix.
Will Martelco Hire play Stuart Hockey Club and be the outside favourites for this season's top crown?
