Whyalla City Council group manager corporate services Migelle Hiscock has again stepped into the hot seat to act as the council's chief executive officer until a locum arrives.
Former chief executive officer Ian Burfitt completed his final day with Whyalla City Council on Friday last week, and the council now has the difficult task of appointing a new permanent CEO to take his place.
Mrs Hiscock, who has acted as CEO previously, said she would be taking on the role for the following two weeks.
She said in the role she would be required to continue to push some of the council's high profile projects.
"I will be ensuring the general operations of council continue to operate in the manner that they should, which means looking after all services in council, not just corporate services," she said.
