Whyalla Public Library is officially open for business.
The new library facility opened its doors yesterday morning, admitting many of the excited residents who eagerly waited for the doors to open for the first time.
Whyalla City Council acting chief executive officer and manager corporate services Migelle Hiscock said she was glad the library was now open for public use.
Mrs Hiscock said she had been pleased with the number of people who had attended the library yesterday morning, saying it was a good indication of the public's excitement for the project.
"I think it's a good indication of how excited the community is about the library," she said.
