With Valentine's Day the internationally recognised day of love it is also the designated date of HeartKids Awareness Day.

This weekend the Whyalla community is being asked to share the love and show some much needed affection for Whyalla HeartKids SA at the Tiny Tickers Ball.

As the only organisation in Australia focussed on all aspects of congenital childhood heart disead (CHD), HeartKids SA provide invaluable emotional and financial support to families with a child living with CHD.

The Tiny Tickers Ball is the organisation's major fundraiser that aims to raise funds to support HeartKid families in and around Whyalla.

Many local families have felt fortunate to have the support of Whyalla HeartKids during what can be very distressing times and find comfort in the continued support of meeting with other families going through the same thing.
