One third of the group, Samantha McClymont, said she had been to Whyalla before, but it had been a long time ago.

"It's definitely long overdue," McClymont said.

Originally from New South Wales, the McClymont sisters have a new album on the way and their new tour, Hits & Previews will include some of their old music but also some new, unheard songs.

McClymont said the group would be bringing a support act with them on tour, but it hadn't been decided who the act would be.

"It will be an upcomer because that was us only a few years ago," McClymont said.
